Today our thoughts are with all of our friends who live in the areas of terrible weather. We were watching the news this morning with our mom before she went to work, and it looks like a good portion of the U.S. is having really nasty weather - lots of snow, lots of ice, and lots of rain. We're having our mom check on our friends as she can, but we've already started purring for you all. Our Secret Paws will be mailed out today - we sure hope Santa is able to deliver it in all this nastiness! For those of you not in the U.S., of course we hope you are all safe and warm (or cool!) too - our mom hasn't been hearing about weather from other places, but we're purring for you too! Our weather has been cold, but no snow or rain at all.
Yes, the weather does seem really crazy. Parts of the province of Ontario in Canada recently have received 5+ FEET of snow and just a couple of days ago 300 vehicles were stranded overnight on highway 402, between Sarnia and London, ON. Mercifully, everyone finally was rescued via helicopter and other means, after a night in their vehicles.
ReplyDeleteAnd parts of eastern Canada had a huge and very destructive rain storm, with flooding, downed trees, power loss, etc.
We know parts of Europe recently have had crazy, dangerous weather too, as well as parts of the U.S.
We're hoping for an early Spring. LOL!
Here mommy said it was an icy wonderland up here on our hill.

ReplyDeleteAw you two are so sweet to purr for everyone in the bad weather! It is cold here but somehow we have been lucky so far and not gotten much snow - it went around us. We feel so bad for everyone who is getting stuck and snowed in (though we know some of our doggie friends love the snow and are in heaven!)

Our weather has been good but we are spozed 2 get a big storm this week. Course, out here in California we are weather-wusses, and anythign more than a half-inch of rain seems to make people forget how to drive.

Purrs to all who are experiencing bad cold weather. We in the tropics have thunderstorms which sometimes result in flashflood and cause traffic jams.
ReplyDeleteOverseas have been having record cold and snow so it is everywhere. we had 45 degrees today - a heat wave. Stay warm.
