Hello, Friends! We're still here, but things are NOT positive! Our mom has been super busy at work (which we guess is positive in a way, because that's job security, right?). It's been stupidly hot here, and our air conditioner has not been working properly. That has our mom furious and us hot, so we haven't had much to say this week. Well, we guess that's positive in a way, too, because now she's not abandoning us to go to the lake this weekend. We just wanted to let everyone know that we're still here, we're still trying to read and comment on blogs when we can, and we'll post again when we have something nice to say! Have a happy 4th!
Clarification: We are not without an air conditioner. Ours is just having some problems, so it's not always as cool as we would like it to be. Our mom is just scared to leave us alone in this drastic heat in case the AC has an episode, and that makes her cranky. Well, crankier. Oh, and we're not having Blogger problems per se, we're just having problems with our mom having time to visit blogs. :)
Pah! Curses to failing air conditioners. Will it help if I, King Kitty Cat of Finland (North) declare war on it ? You are girlcats needing your cool and quiet. We have had lots of heat here and it has been very stinky. We don't like to think of OK cats being stinky too.

ReplyDeleteDo you notice how the weather men on the tv are all excited this time of year? Like it's christmas or something. They sound like they're bragging and say...If only it gets 2 degrees hotter we'll break the July 2nd record...We feel like saying, If it doesn't cool down 10 degrees we'll come break your face mr. weatherman.

I'm sorry you are having problem with air conditioner. It's very bad time not to have properly working AC. You have such a wonderful mom. She canceled her trip to lake to make sure you are ok.

OMG we went through that last summer. No matter what we set the temp at the indoor temp was always 6 to 10 degrees warmer. We finally had to get a new unit this year. I am so sorry you are going through that. I am the same. I wouldn't leave either for fear that it would break and my babies would be trapped in a house that is too warm

ReplyDeleteWhen it come to the heat ! and without air con. Me and my whole family did nothing just do breath and watch TV. me and my mom was on the floor, Dad and my sis just keep take a shower. Now we got AC. which is so good in our Summer. But to make sure AC. work well, we always keep the curtain and every doors closed !

ReplyDeleteWe understand why your Mom would feel cranky pants with the cold box not working as it's supposed to. I don't know what's worse the A/C not working right or the computer. It's a toss up I guess. Well we hope it gets all fixed and that you won't get too bothered by the hot weather!
