Well, she made it home! She is complaining about her feet hurting, but that is all her own fault. The ONLY shoes she brought to wear were these boots with 4 inch heels. Now, she's almost 6 feet tall anyway, so there is no logical reason for her to make herself even more gigantic. She is Not Smart. But, we'll take advantage of this. While she lays around nursing her feet and watching football, we'll soak up lots of attention and petties. And Greenies! She finally broke out the treats that The Island Cats sent us in our Secret Paws package, and we LOVE them! We've never had Greenies before. Those Island Cats really know their stuff!
On a funny note, our mom started to help us read our comments, and she turned this really funky shade of green. Not because of the happy juice she drank last night but because of Miss Sparkle's comment! Miss Sparkle's mom human has MET almost all of our mom's musical idols, and our mom is so jealous! And we also wanted to thank you all for understanding and still being our friends!! You all get it - we can't totally control our people (just a little bit!).

Our mum says it is a long time since she wore 4 inch heels. She would probably fall off them now and break her neck.

My human has "made a career" (to quote her odd phrase) of trying to find shoes and boots that look cool that don't have 4-inch heels! She is very clumsy, even with flat heels! Except for her boyfriend and his bandmates and friends, I missed all those rocker people she hung out with - but the cat before me once gave a lapdance to Ian Astbury of the Cult. I bet she bragged about that to all her pals in the back parking lot!
ReplyDeleteUm, my Human is really embarrassed because she doesn't even know who those guys in the picture yesterday were! Ha ha ha--that's how old SHE is! If it came after Mick Jagger and the rest, she's clueless. In any case, never be embarrassed. What our Humans like or do is on them, not us!

ReplyDeleteOur Mom loves high heels, but she has balance issues ... She has a very bad inner ear problem ... She still will wear up to 3 inch heels but only rarely. She lobes boots though!

My mommy says 2 inches in heel height is all she'll do any more. She has even resorted to kitten heels. No, not off of kittens..those wee little short 1 inch heels, MOL.
